LaGrange is the place to be the first weekend of August! Starting with Sunsets at Sweetland on Friday, August 5th. Patrons and families are encouraged to bring a picnic or carryout from a downtown eatery along with blankets to enjoy a fun, FREE evening of live music by The Alcotts and and an outdoor movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, under the stars on Sweetland’s great lawn.
Next, on Saturday, August 6th, MJ Live will bring their high-energy and authentic Michael Jackson tribute show to Sweetland Amphitheatre, and with it, the energy, excitement, spectacle and pure joy of this legendary superstar and his music. Also enjoy the opening performance by the Stooges Brass Band. Their cut-loose vibe is contemporary, yet deeply rooted in the culturally rich musical legacy of New Orleans.
